Pre- school 2 to 5 years.
These classes are fun sessions, where children will learn about basic food preparation methods such as measuring, weighing, rubbing in, creaming, decorating, These session will use very easy simple recipes to encourage children to become involved in cooking. They will include taste testing, art activities and maybe a song about food. All children will require adult supervision however, free coffee and tea will be always available. These sessions will give both children and adults the opportunity to make new friends and spend time cooking with your children, but with no shopping, no mess and washing up to do.
Primary school 5-11 years.
These will teach children about different foods and groups, encourage healthy eating, be fun, increase their cooking skills and their confidence to cook. Children will prepare a recipe and either bake on site or take to home to bake depending on the recipe. Children will also be involved in a craft activity and have unlimited sugar free juice and a snack.

Mondays- 4.00-5.15 pm, Mark Kirby Hall, Cottingham.
Classes are £9.00, per session, per class, booked in advance. Course bookings are not required but classes are kept small and are booked on a first come first served basis
Secondary school 11-16 years.
Children will learn basic cooking skills, nutrition , food hygiene and safety. They will then develop their skills to make more complex menus and start menu planning.
